Motion Blur

A clock which is slightly blurred from shaking the camera.

This is of a staircase.

Motion blur photo looking upward at a tree.

This is a light which had a red, smaller light on it.
The red light is a lot more prominent when the photo is blurred

foreground/background depth

The foreground is the sign.  I tried to make the sign more in focus
by making it a lot sharper than the background

The plants are the foreground.  The brick wall is the background
The plants are very bright and colorful, while the background is a duller color.
The contrast makes the eye drawn to the plants first.

The light is sharper, while the background is blurry.  The light is the foreground.

I tried to contrast the light metal bars against the dark stairs.
The bars are the foreground the stairs and wall are the background.

Perspective (Using repetition)

The repetition of the holes in the table are constant until the end of the picture.
The holes appear to be getting smaller as they are father away from the camera.

The fire escape is leading upward as the windows show perspective horizontally

The repetition of the telephone poles shows perspective

The repetition of the layers on the roof show the slants going up ward and to the side

Other Photos

The lockers right outside the library.  They were originally for rule of thirds.

This is a picture of the sidewalk.  I tried to give it a grimy effect

This is part of the courtyard ground.  It is supposed to resemble the sun.

SALAD

Perspective (using lines)

The lines between the wood planks add perspective to the photo as they go father away from the camera.

The elements that show perspective are the cross walk, the shadow of the light, and the buildings.

The staples appear to be smaller as they move back

The lines outlining the brick are used for perspective
The bricks and the window were used to to exaggerate the distance

The angle at which this picture was taken shows persective

Photos taken using rule of thirds

The fire hydrant is a third of the picture, and the ending of the wall outlines another third.

The buildings are each a third.  The empty space in between them is another third of the picture.

The windows grid like design is a way of separating the picture into thirds.

The coffee cup is a third, and the shadow is another third.  The empty space is used for a third as well.

The leaves on the tree, the sidewalk and people, and the brick wall are each a third of the picture.

The garage of the left building is a third, the door is a third.  The post separate the two doors into separate thirds.
