10 photo series

I added zoom focus on the person walking.  I purposely took the
photo when she was about to take a step. 

I made everything black and white except for the flower to add
focus on the flower.

I added focus on the flower.  Also, someone else's camera is in the
corner of the picture.

The color was toned down, except of the light.

I added focus on the motorcycle.  I like how the color is bright yellow,
but everything around it has duller colors.

This is of a carpet salesman.  I added a little bit of focus on the carpets and the
briefcase.

Planning 3 Series

1. Edit various aspects of photos to portray and embellish certain moods/emotions

2. Try taking more nature photos.  These would have a "calm" mood.

3. Try to take photos at unusual angles

Negative

I made the photo black and white,  I also adjusted the exposure.  That way,
there is negative space around Chris.  

This is of a window pane.  This a more simplistic photo.
I adjusted the exposure to add negative space around the subject: the frame of the window.

This is a photo that I took when my hand was over the lends.  I made the photo black and white.  I also darkened my hand.  

This is of the trees outside of Drew.  The sky is the negative space.
I really like how the branches look against the sky.

This is similar to my other photo of the tree branches against the sky.
I changes the coloring to have a sepia tone.

This photo is like the one of my hand over the lends.  I had the same effects.
The only difference is the texture of the trees verses my hands.  I feel
like they both have the same feeling.   

The negative space in this photo make the shape of a face.
I increased the exposure, as well as made it black and white.

This is the simplest photo in this series.  The sky is the negative space.
I tried to make this photo have a calm feeling.

Experimental Style

I edited this is Picmonkey.  I added a texture overlay, and I changed
the coloring.

This is the first of two photos that I took of Scooty.  It was hard to
get him to allow me to take a picture of him, but once I was
able to I noticed that he has unique features for portraits.  In this
photo he was more hesitant to have his photo taken.

Scooty had three people trying to take his photo when I
took this one of him.  He was about to try to get out of the frame. 

I edited this one to look like it has a "horror" theme.
I edited the color and exposure.  

This is a very edited photo of Stefan.  I cropped the photo, as well as edited
the color, and I added a dirty texture.

This photo is the same as the other, except it is less edited.   I has
more exposure, but it doesn't has a texture on top.

Experimenting

I added text, as well as a texture overlay that makes the photo look darker.
The darkness fades into the photo.

This is supposed to show repetition.  There is a metal texture added.
I added exposure, and I made it black and white.

This is supposed to show fear.  I added red coloring and text.
I changed his eyes to look darker.

Absent-minded is the them of the photo.  I edited out facial features,
added exposure, added a texture, and made the photo black and white.

I added a paint texture on top.  The is focus towards the bottom.

I added exposure and coloring to this photo of the ground.  It is supposed
to look like a sun.

I added the word "contained."  I also added focus and zoom.

There is a fabric texture on top.

I added a faint texture, which made the wood look more colorful

Emulating Alfred Stieglitz (Hands)

This hand is supposed to portray "freedom."  This picture was
taken without the person knowing, which I think makes the
photo more "real."

This photo is more mysterious because the sides of the hand
is blurred, and the hand is dark.

These hands show someone who is relaxed.  The person had their
hands resting on their leg.

This is my favorite photo that I took because the details in
the hand are very clear.  I really like the lighting.

I do not like this photo because the lighting made it so the hand
does not have much detail.  Alfred Stieglitz' photos were successful because
of the amount of detail and emotion in the hands.

This photo is one of my favorites because it is mysterious.
To me, the hand almost looks dead.

This hand is showing someone who is relaxed.

This is another photo that I think is not successful, mainly because of
the watch.  Also, these hands do not look like they have a
natural position.

Macro

This photo is meant to show the darkness of war.  I dimmed the photo
to give it a "dark" feeling. 

When editing this photo, I focused on the coloring.  The color of the
frog is vibrant.  This contrasts with the background because the colors are less bright
and the background is more blurry.
